On September 19, the Center for Rural Pennsylvania announced it will host an October 7 webinar on Utility-Scale Solar Energy Facility Development from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

The webinar will feature researchers who worked on the Center’s recent series of report on solar energy development in Pennsylvania--

-- Baseline Assessment, Development Process And Regulatory Context Of Solar Power In Rural PA

-- Understanding And Addressing The Impact Of Solar Development

The speakers scheduled to participate include--

-- Dr. Laura Dimino, Assistant Director, Center for Rural Pennsylvania

-- Hannah Wiseman, J.D., The Pennsylvania State University, - Understanding and Addressing the Impact of Solar Development on Pennsylvania Farmland; and,

-- Russell C. Hedberg II, Ph.D., Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania - Baseline Assessment, Development Process, and Regulatory Context of Solar Power in Rural Pennsylvania
