The Audubon Society Of Western PA, Buffalo Creek Coalition and Penn State Extension will host a Backyard Stream Repair Workshop October 5 at the Buffalo Creek Nature Park in Sarver, Butler County from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.

Is your stream getting deeper or wider? Are you losing some of your land every time it rains? Have you wondered why your streambanks are changing so rapidly?

Join Audubon and Penn State Extension to learn more about backyard stream repair solutions.

The program includes a set of pre-recorded webinars that you can view at your own pace, followed by an in-person field day where you can put what you learned to practice—including stream evaluation, and different approaches to riparian buffer and streambank stabilization.

Participants in this workshop will receive a copy of the Penn State Extension publication, Simple Solutions for Your Eroding Backyard Stream.

Space is limited – registration is required. $6 per Audubon member, $10 per nonmember.
