DEP Sets Oct. 28 Meeting/Hearing On Renewal Of Hazardous Waste Permit For Keystone Cement In Northampton County [Updated]

The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled a public meeting and hearing for October 28 on the renewal of a Hazardous Waste Storage Facility Permit for the Keystone Cement Company facility in East Allen Township, Northampton County.   (PA Bulletin, page 6342)

DEP corrected this notice to include the fact that a public meeting on the application will occur before the public hearing on the same date.  (PA Bulletin, page 6196)

The meeting/hearing will be held at the Nitschmann Middle School, 1002 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA-- meeting from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. to answer questions and the hearing from 7:40 to 9:00 p.m.

Individuals wishing to testify at the hearing submit a written notice of intent to Colleen Connolly, Community Relations Coordinator, Keystone Cement Company Public Hearing, PA DEP, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701-1915, or by email to: coconnolly@pa.gov.
