PA Interfaith Power & Light is launching a new coaching program for congregations and community groups interested in becoming Community Watershed Protectors.
There is no cost to the program and applications are due by January 20.
Watershed Circle will meet monthly for six months to help groups identify and implement community watershed projects.
The program is designed around five key frameworks: faith responsive, community led, environmental justice, peer learning, and expert coaching.
Community Watershed Protectors can be brand new to watersheds or experienced leaders who are looking for support in mobilizing their community or dreaming up a new project.
Community Watershed Projects can be education, planning, or implementation focused.
Meeting Dates
The Watershed Circle will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on--
-- January 23: Identifying a Community Watershed Project
-- February 20: Building Buy In for a Community Watershed Project
-- March 20: Overcoming Barriers to the Community Watershed Project
-- April 17: Getting your Community Watershed Project Funded
-- May 15: Telling your Community Watershed Project Story
-- June 19: Community Watershed Project Incubator Night
