DEP Invites Comments On Air Quality Permit For Nova Energy LLC Cryptocurrency Data Center In Venango County

The Department of Environmental Protection invites comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval for the Nova Energy LLC Allam PGM cryptocurrency data center in Frenchcreek Township, Venango County. (PA Bulletin, page 8123) The permit covers three engines used in electrical generation that would emit 28.56 tons of VOCs, 22.83 tons of NOx and 6.45 tons of hazardous air pollutants. Public comments will be accepted for 30 days from notice (January 13). No hearing is proposed, but one can be requested.
