PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices, Opportunities To Comment - January 18

The following notices were published in the January 18 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities. Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

-- Beech Resources LLC - Delta 9.26.24 Release: DEP received a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the site located at 4430 Daughertys Run, Road, Linden, PA in Lycoming Twp., Lycoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 587)

-- Energy Transfer Partners - Tinicum Release Site: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with fuel oil, unleaded gasoline and other petroleum-related contaminants to meet the Statewide Health Standards at a site located at 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA in Tinicum Twp., Delaware County. -- Diversified Production LLC - Krick #16 Conventional Well: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to meet the Statewide Health Standards at a well located in Greenwood Twp., Clearfield County. (PA Bulletin, page 588)

-- Diversified Production LLC - Falcon 6 Conventional Well: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, barium, boron, chloride, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, and zinc (production wastewater) to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the well located in Redbank Twp., Clarion County. -- EQT Corporation - Beta Cameron Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, arsenic, barium, boron, chromium, copper, iron, lead, manganese, strontium, vanadium, zinc, chloride, phenolics, and methanol (production wastewater+) to meet the Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Richhill Twp., Greene County. 2025 Act 2 Oil & Gas Facility Pollution Cleanups

So far in 2025, DEP received or acted on 11 Act 2 Land Recycling notices related to oil and gas facility site cleanups.
