|
The Pennsylvania Solar Center will host a January 31 webinar on the RISE PA Decarbonization Grant Program from Noon to 1:15 p.m. The RISE PA is a statewide industrial decarbonization grant program is funded through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Pollution Reduction Grants under the Inflation Reduction Act. The purpose of RISE PA is to offer grants (up to 50%) for small-, medium-, and large-scale decarbonization projects at industrial facilities to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) and co-pollutant emissions by promoting investment into emissions reduction equipment and technology, including energy efficiency upgrades and solar energy. At this webinar, we will be joined by the PA Department of Environmental Protection, who is administering the grant program, as well as the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program at Penn State (PennTAP), to discuss the energy audits required by the grant application. The PA Solar Center will also describe the GET Solar technical assistance program that provides commercial properties with guidance to consider going solar. Speakers will include: -- Louie Krak, Coordinator, Infrastructure Implementation, Department of Environmental Protection -- Alanna Colvin, MBA, C.E.M., EIT, Associate Director of Programming, PennTAP -- Leo Kowalski, Director of Transformation, PA Solar Center Who should attend? -- Elected officials and staff -- Industrial and manufacturing facility owners and operators -- Renewable energy owners, operators and/or investors -- Solar developers -- General public and anyone interested in learning more!
