The following notices were published in the January 25 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities. Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments. -- The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notice in the January 25 PA Bulletin announcing the December approval of 18 shale gas water use general permits in Bradford, Cameron, Center, Clearfield, Lycoming, Susquehanna and Tioga counties. SRBC issued a total of 310 shale gas general permits in 2024. Read more here. Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups -- Coterra Energy, Inc. - R.Bushnell Shale Gas Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with oil-based mud mixed with diesel fuel to meet Statewide Health and Background Standards at the pad located in Springville Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, page 876) 2025 Act 2 Oil & Gas Facility Pollution Cleanups So far in 2025, DEP received or acted on 12 Act 2 Land Recycling notices related to oil and gas facility site cleanups. Air Quality Permits - Comments -- National Fuel Gas Supply Corp. - Knox Compressor Station: DEP invites comments on a State Only Air Quality Permit covering multiple sources at the facility located in Knox Twp., Jefferson County. (PA Bulletin, page 818) -- Highland Field Services, LLC - Seven Mile Minerals: DEP invites comments on an Air Quality Plan Approval for an oil and gas wastes evaporator located in Sergeant Twp., McKean County. (PA Bulletin, page 818) -- World Energy Harrisburg, LLC - Biodiesel Production Facility: DEP invites comments on a State Only Air Quality Permit covering multiple sources at the facility located in Lower Allen Twp., Cumberland County.
