DEP Sets March 19 Hearing On RACT 3 Air Quality Permit For The Cleveland Cliffs Butler Works, Butler County

The Department of Environmental Protection is scheduled to hold a March 19 hearing on the RACT 3 Air Quality Permit for the Cleveland Cliffs Butler Steel Works in Butler Township, Butler County. (PA Bulletin, page 1553) The hearing will be held at DEP’s Northwest Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street in Meadville starting at 10:00 a.m. Persons wishing to present testimony should register with Matthew Williams, Environmental Group Manager, Air Quality Program, at matwilliam@pa.gov or phone 814-332-6940. Speakers must pre-register in order to testify at the hearing.
