Feb. 25 Conservation Cornerstone Webinar - Biosecurity Essentials By The Center For Agricultural Conservation Assistance Training

To help agriculture professionals who are beginning their journey in agricultural conservation, the Center for Agricultural Conservation Assistance Training, administered by Penn State Extension, is holding a webinar, “Conservation Cornerstone: Biosecurity Foundations,” from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 25.

This webinar is aimed at newer conservation district employees, agricultural conservation professionals, and individuals associated with the Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program or other conservation financial assistance programs.

This session highlights the critical role of biosecurity as the foundation for every farm visit. Participants can discover how to establish a clean farm biosecurity base, implement best practices and navigate high-risk areas to ensure the health and safety of farms and their ecosystems.

Whether individuals are new to agricultural conservation or looking to strengthen their approach, this webinar provides essential knowledge for responsible and impactful practices, organizers noted.

Penn State Extension offers this event at no charge, but registration by 8:30 a.m. Feb. 25 is required to receive the link to access the webinar.

A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within 10 business days after the live event. Participants can access the recording for six months from the event date.
