The Department of Environmental Protection will hold a March 24 hearing on a revision to an Industrial Minerals (noncoal) Mining permit for the Perkiomenville Quality owned by Highway Materials LLC in Marlborough Township, Montgomery County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2019)

The revised permit would increase the acreage by 1.3 acres in the Unami Creek Watershed (High Quality).

The hearing will be held at the Marlborough Township Building, 6040 Upper Ridge Road, Green Lane from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

DEP representatives will be available at 6:00 p.m. to answer questions the public may have about the permitting process and regulatory requirements prior to the start of the formal hearing at 7:00 p.m

During the hearing, individuals will be allotted up to three minutes to present verbal testimony.
