House Bills

Wind Turbines Near Military Installations: House Bill 430 (Mako-R-Lehigh) prohibiting the construction of wind turbines that would negatively affect military installations was removed from the Table and is now on the House Calendar for action.

DEP Environmental Justice/Cumulative Impact Permit Review: House Bill 109 (Vitali-D- Delaware) establishing an environmental justice permit review program in DEP to consider cumulative impacts of pollutants on communities was amended and reported out of the house Environmental and Natural Resource Protection Committee, Republicans opposing, and Tabled.  Read more here.

Driveway Sealants: House Bill 1089 (Steele (D-Allegheny) prohibits the supply, sale or application of sealants containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) on driveways or parking lots was reported out of the House Environmental & Natural Resource Protection Committee, Republicans opposing, and Tabled.

Sale Of Municipal Water Systems: House Bill 322 (Ciresi-D-Montgomery) further providing for the sale of municipally-own water and wastewater systems and disclosure of rates was reported out of the House Consumer Protection, Technology and Utilities Committee and Tabled.

Funding Stormwater Management Facilities:  House Bill 990 (Struzzi-R-Indiana) amends the Borough Code and House Bill 991 (Struzzi-R-Indiana) amends the First Class Township Code to fund local stormwater management facilities were amended and reported out of the House Local Government Committee and Tabled.
