Workshop on Invasive Aquatic Species Set for May 24-25 in Philadelphia

The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Philadelphia is hosting a workshop on using Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point analysis to help control invasive aquatic species.

HACCP planning is a methodology adapted from the food industry to identify risks and focus procedures to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species during a variety of aquatic field activities.

Biologists, technicians, hatchery and aquaculture staff would find this workshop very useful.

The workshop is free and the registration deadline is May 14.
