Governor Submits Nominations for Public Utility Commission

Gov. Rendell this week took action to fill a vacant position on the Public Utility Commission and renominate a serving commissioner to a new term. Ty Christy, from Butler County, was nominated to fill the open position on the Commission. Currently serving as vice president of Americas Power Partners/Armstrong Services, Christy also served on the board of the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authroity. Kim Pizzingrilli was renominated by the Governor to serve a second term on the Commission. She joined the PUC in 2002 and is the former Secretary of the Commonwealth.
