The Department of Environmental Protection is extending the deadline to submit CAIR permit applications and published draft guidance on stream well and raw water diversions and the special projects funding manual for the Chesapeake Bay Program.

This guidance describes the procedures Department staff will follow to permit a well or surface water source which discharges directly into a waterway or reservoir for the purpose of providing a continuous or supplemental source of water supply.
