The Department of Environmental Protection, Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the Public Utility Commission all published policy changes this week. Here’s the rundown…

The Department of Environmental Protection published a proposed Great Lakes Mercury in Products Phase-Down Strategy for comment and proposed revisions to the Air Quality State Implementation Plan relating to interstate transport and other issues. DEP also published changes to the list of certified radon service firms (PA Bulletin, page 123).

The Public Utility Commission published its final policy statement and final order on providing electricity default service.

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency this week published a notice inviting comment on a draft All-Hazard Mitigation Plan for the Commonwealth as required by the federal Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.
