The first Environmental Issues Forum of the Fall session will feature a presentation on the Cleanup Our American Lands and Streams (COALS) anti-dumping, anti-litter program.

The Forum is sponsored by the Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee and will be held in Room 205 of the Ryan Building on September 24 at noon.

Julie McMonagle, Director of the Northeast Regional Office of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council will be the primary presenter at the Forum.

The September issue of the Environmental Synopsis newsletter published by the Joint Committee is now available online and features articles on environmental issues expected to come before the General Assembly this Fall, hemlock and mountain laural losses, declines in U.S. carbon emissions and Pennsylvania’s rankin in energy efficiency.
