The Department of Environmental Protection published an update of the credits available on its emission reduction credit registry (PA Bulletin, page 5662) and the Environmental Quality Board met and approved several new rulemakings (details below). The Environmental Quality Board this week approved proposed rules on diesel truck idling, proposed changes to water quality standards, the water quality toxics management strategy, siting of landfills, took action on a petition to redesignate a Monroe County watershed and received a report on the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program.
