Schuylkill Workshop on Local Governments Protecting Watersheds

On October 30 the Schuylkill Action Network is sponsoring a workshop entitled, “What’s Working to Engage Local Governments in Watershed Protection?” at Montgomery County Community College from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The workshop is designed to engage representatives of local governments and watershed groups in exchanging new tools, techniques and ideas for solving key watershed protection issues.

Keynote presenters will include: Jon Capacasa, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region III, Jen Adkins of the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary and Diane Russell of the Institute for Conservation Leadership.

The program will also include an optional tour of the stormwater retention basin at Spring Ford Area Senior High School in Royersford.
