How Will We Grow Greener? Quecreek Mine Rescue Anniversary

All sides—Senate, House, Governor, DEP-- looked to clarify their positions this week on what they think will happen on environmental spending initiatives this summer and fall.

I’ve also included a special update on activities surrounding the Quecreek Mine Rescue site. It was two years ago this week that combined state, federal and private rescue workers were able to rescue nine miners trapped in the Quecreek Mine July 24, 2002.
