PROP Offers Advanced Composting Course in March

The Professional Recyclers of Pennsylvania will offer a new class March 6 that focuses on aerated static piles for composting at the Montgomery County Extension Office in Collegeville.

The course was developed for experienced composters (municipal, farm, non-profit or for-profit) who would like to expand beyond the basics of leaf and yard waste composting into food residuals, manures, and other challenging materials.

The complete announcement is available online. The registration form is also available online.

Please note that this is an advanced course and is not intended for those who are mainly interested in home scale composting.

For more information, contact the course coordinator Cary Oshins by sending email to: caryoshins@hotmail.com or call 484-547-1521.
