Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference, Shad Symposium Set for March 28

The Wildlands Conservancy, Lehigh County Conservation District, Fish and Boat Commission and other partners will hold the 2008 Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference and Shad Symposium on March 28 at the Holiday Inn in Fogelsville, Pa. The conference will bring together watershed groups, municipal officials, educators, scientists, technical experts, agencies, industry representatives and the public to discuss effective ways to clean up watershed, forge partnership and maximize the resources in the Lehigh Valley. A special Shad Symposium will also be held in conjunction with the Conference to address topics of interest in the restoration of the American Shad to the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers.
