Earth Day - Central PA Conservancy to Cleanup Riverfront Park on April 22

The Central Pennsylvania Conservancy in partnership with the City of Harrisburg, Department of Parks and Recreation will be out on Earth Day, April 22 from 10am – 3pm cleaning up Riverfront Park in downtown Harrisburg.

This event is a great opportunity to do your part for Earth Day on your lunch hour! CPC invites everyone to come and join us in one of our two locations on April 22nd. T-shirts, water, snacks and all equipment, including gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided at both staging areas located at 3211 N. Front Street and at the corner of Market & Front Streets.

The event will be focused on beautifying two places, along Front Street between Walnut and State Streets, and along the riverfront centered around the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation building at 3211 N. Front Street.

Volunteers from all over central PA are encouraged to join us from 10am -3pm! Large groups as well as individuals are welcome.
