Rebecca Flora, Executive Director of Pittsburgh Green Building Alliance, was recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s “Top 50 Cultural Forces” in the region by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in June.

Flora’s leadership at Pittsburgh’s Green Building Alliance since 1997 helped make Pittsburgh an international leader in adopting green building techniques, including the largest green building in the United States. That leadership and her energy resulted in Pittsburgh hosting the international U.S. Green Building Council conference in 2004 that attracted over 5,000 people.
