Public Invited To Comment On Spring Creek Canyon Master Plan March 31

The public is invited to attend a public meeting on the Spring Creek Canyon Master Plan in Centre County sponsored by the project's Steering Committee and the ClearWater Conservancy on March 31 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology in Pleasant Gap, Pa.

 

The meeting will include a presentation and comment session on master plan concepts including the recommended integrated master plan concept based on feedback from the project’s Steering Committee, Public Advisory Committee, and Technical Advisory Committee. A recommended management structure will also be presented.

 

This will be the final opportunity for the general public to provide input to the Spring Creek Canyon Master Plan and Management Plan before its completion on April 15.

 

The draft master plan and management plan document will be available for comment beginning March 24. Comments will be accepted through April 7.
