Call For Posters, Land, Water & Communities Conference May 7-9

Organizers of the Working Together To Protect Our Land, Water and Communities Conference May 7-9 in State College issued a call for posters to be displayed at the conference.
The deadline for submissions is April 17.
The conference offers a unique opportunity for participants to highlight best practices and research findings as well as to explore emerging issues with over 500 attendees involved with private and public land and water conservation in Pennsylvania.
Posters are encouraged for the following topic areas as related to Pennsylvania: Private and Public land Conservation, Watershed Conservation, Stormwater Management, Wildlife Conservation, Forest land Management, Farmland Preservation,Human, Social and Community Dimensions, Green Infrastructure, Climate Change Impacts and Emerging Issues. Posters set up takes place from 3 to 4 p.m. on May 8. The poster presenters are invited to staff their poster at the May 8 reception, 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. which will take place in the poster presentation area. Details for the set up and break down will be provided in a confirmation email following abstract submittal.
Poster abstracts will be reviewed and selected on the basis of available space and the degree to which they meet the following criteria: relevance to conference goals and Pennsylvania’s land, water and communities, innovativeness of approach and uniqueness of findings and approach.
Poster size should not exceed 36” x 48”, landscape orientation. The poster will be attached by pins to a display board (both provided).
