2010 PROP Recycling Film Festival Entries Invited
The 3rd Annual PROP Recycling Festival is now inviting entries to its film competition for Best Video. This year the Festival has been scheduled as a stand-alone event on the first day of the 2010 PROP Recycling Conference.
The deadline for submitting videos is July 9.
You have six months to plan, storyboard, secure your talent and locations, shoot, edit and submit. If you plan to use a musical sound track, be mindful of copyrights to use music produced by others.
You can also encourage students or other enthusiastic beings to produce a recycling video on your behalf depicting an interesting theme or an element of your local recycling program. It would be ideal if your video could be hosted on your local recycling education webpage!
Your organization will be eligible to win a cash prize for the “Best Video” in addition to the illustrious honor of being recognized by your peers.
And there’s more! All previous “Best Videos” of the PROP Recycling Film Festival have been posted to the Internet. Check out these links when you have some time to enjoy: “KAB Man” (Keep America Beautiful); "Centre Recycles" (CoolPixx Media Productions); "The Cycle," (RecycleBank); and "The Recycling Movie," (Laurel School).
Details about submitting your video are available at thePROP Recycling Conference webpage.
