Noted author and bird expert Jean Stull will be honored with the 2010 John C. Oliver Environmental Stewardship Award at a special event on June 23. "Jean Stull is an excellent choice for this years John Oliver award. Jean has been an inspiration to me personally, and has touched so many with her love of Presque Isle through her life's work in the environment and the birding world, as well as through her awe inspiring art work, capturing the Peninsula and it's natural inhabitants in her own special way," Harry Leslie, Park Operations Manager, Presque Isle State Park
Gov. Tom Ridge will offer the keynote address and present the 2010 John C. Oliver Environmental Leadership Award at a special reception starting at 6:30 p.m.
