Here’s a sampling of just a few of the Earth Day 2005 events going on around Pennsylvania in April, plus links to find events in your area.

Munnell Run Farm: Families, scouts, youth groups and other organizations are invited to join the staff of the Mercer County Conservation District and community volunteers at Munnell Run Farm on April 23 for a special Earth Day celebration. Northwest Philadelphia Earth Day Fair: On April 17 there will be an Earth Day Fair at 4700 Wissahickon Ave. in Philadelphia with displays on clean energy, community gardening, recycling and more with 20 local environmental groups. For more, visit the Earth Day Fair webpage.

Pocono Earth Day Family Festival: The Pocono Environmental Education Center will hold it’s 10th annual Earth Day Family Festival on April 24. The event will feature live animal presentations, hikes, crafts, a pond study and much more. For more, visit the PEEC Earth Day Festival webpage.
