Bills Introduced

The following bills of interest were introduced this week--

Water Well Standards: House Bill 1855 (Miller-R-York) authorizing the Environmental Quality Board to establish drinking water well construction standards.

Agricultural Deed Compliance: House Bill 2059 (Miller-R-York) authorizing county agricultural conservation boards to inspect all agricultural easements at least biennial basis to determine compliance with deed easements.

Pipeline Origin: Senate Bill 1353 (Pippy-R-Allegheny) amending the Oil and Gas Act to specify the country of origin of any steel products used in drilling operations and Senate Bill 1356 (Pippy) amending the PUC code to report the country of origin of any steel products used in pipeline facility.
