Reisinger Named Director of DEP's Bureau of Waste Management

DEP Secretary Kathleen A. McGinty this week announced the appointment of Ken Reisinger as Director of the Bureau of Waste Management.

Reisinger served as Chief of the Division of Waterways, Wetlands and Erosion Control in the Bureau of Watershed Management where he was responsible for management of the Commonwealth's waterways, wetlands and erosion control programs.

Prior to this, he has held numerous management positions within the department including the Chief of the Division of Wetlands Protection, Chief of the Education and Technical Assistance Section and as an Environmental Planner. Ken also brings many years of experience in the private sector while working as the Executive Director of the LeTort Regional Authority and a supervisor at Rockwell International.

Reisinger served in the United States Air Force where he was involved in communications and intelligence collection missions.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Shippensburg University and a Bachelor's degree in Social, Cultural, and Economic Geography from Shippensburg University.
