Friends Of The Wissahickon Annual Meeting January 27

Friends of the Wissahickon in Montgomery and Philadelphia counties will host a public meeting on January 27 to discuss progress on its Sustainable Trails Initiative, its signage program and other upcoming projects in 2016.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Social Room of the Chestnut Hill Friends Meetinghouse, located at 20 East Mermaid Lane in Chestnut Hill.

The Sustainable Trails Initiative is a multi-year project that will make the 50 miles of recreation trails in the Wissahickon a physically and socially sustainable system for all park users.

This project is being implemented in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. In addition, there will be an update on the parkwide signage project.
