The Penn State’s PA Technical Assistance Program will host a Workshop on Saving Money Through Energy Management Systems in Erie September 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Energy is a critical component of any organization's operations, and it is important to realize that energy can be managed; it is not a fixed overhead cost. An Energy Management System (EnMS) provides organizations with a framework for efficiently managing and improving their energy performance, thereby reducing energy costs. While PennTAP specializes in creating an EnMS for small and midsize companies, PennTAP's experienced technical advisors can assist with the design and implementation of an EnMS tailored to the size of any company. PennTAP's staff includes a Certified Practitioner in Energy Management Systems (CP EnMS). Through PennTAP’s EnMS services, PennTAP has helped companies achieve energy reductions ranging from 8.5 percent over three years to nearly 42 percent over ten years. No matter how large or small your organization, implementing an EnMS can be a key step to save energy, cut costs, and stay competitive. Contact PennTAP to help your organization achieve its energy reduction goals through PennTAP’s EnMS services. The workshop will be held at the Knowledge Center, 5240 Knowledge Parkway, Erie.
