DEP Invites Comments On Monaca Gas Pipeline Project Water Quality Certification In Beaver, Washington Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the June 9 PA Bulletin proposing to issue a Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the National Fuel Gas Monaca Pipeline Project in Center and Potter townships, Beaver County and Buffalo Township, Washington County (PA Bulletin page 3488).

The project involves construction o f 12-inch natural gas pipeline for the purpose of transporting natural gas from an existing transmission line to the Shell Ethane Plant in Beaver County.

Public comments are due July 9.  Read the PA Bulletin notice for all the details.  (PA Bulletin page 3488).
