Penn State Extension will hold a Dive Even Deeper: Bog Environments Workshop for Educators September 20 at the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center in Monroe County
Dive Even Deeper is a new program conceived as part of Penn State Extension's award winning Dive Deeper Water Educators Summit. Dive Even Deeper takes educators further into unique water topics during a one day, hands-on, interactive workshop.
Topics to be covered in this workshop include: What Makes a Bog; Bog Geology and Hydrology; Bog Ecosystems; Natural and Cultural History of Bogs; Denizens of the Bogs; Carnivorous Plants; Active Learning at Tannersville Cranberry Bog.
