The Centre County Conservation District is seeking a qualified individual to serve as District Manager. The deadline for applications is March 6.
This individual will be responsible for managing a highly skilled staff (currently 8) involved in local and state-delegated programs to protect and enhance the natural resources of the county.
Major programs of the District include regulatory programs such as erosion and sediment control, assisting agricultural operations in planning and implementation of best management practices, the Dirt, Gravel & Low Volume Roads program, and watershed stewardship and environmental education.
