Over 900 people have registered so far for the 5th Annual Ohio River Watershed Celebration that gets underway on September 21.

To help create interest in attendance, the ORWC Organizing Committee will award four $500 grants to winners of an “on-board” display competition. There was so much interest in the grants, the Committee decided to also award four additional $250 second prize grants awards to help watershed groups meet their organizations goals.

The Celebration recognizes the efforts and impacts that small local watershed organizations have had on the restoration of the Three Rivers in Pittsburgh lead by dedicated volunteers addressing local issues,
