WeConservePA is now accepting registrations for the 2022 PA Land Conservation Conference to be held March 16-18 in Gettysburg.

The Conference is Pennsylvania’s premier networking, training, and inspirational event for staff and volunteers of conservation groups.

This year's agenda features dozens of educational sessions, mobile seminars, keynote presentations, and social and networking opportunities.

Keynote Speakers

From climate change to extinction, these are hard times for nature – and anxious, aching times for those who love it.

Join renowned social scientist Dr. Mary M. Clare and award-winning science writer Gary Ferguson for Full Ecology: Reclaiming Your Human Nature. Come get to know better, the wisdom that nature hard-wired into you from the start.

Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn and Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding will also be featured at the Conference.

Mobile Seminars

The Conference includes the opportunity to join several mobile seminars--

-- Preserving Local Landscapes Tour through eastern Adams County that highlights unique preservation efforts; and

-- Pennsylvania’s Conservation Landscapes that visits projects that demonstrate the breadth and depth of Conservation Landscape work.

Larry Williamson Scholarship

The scholarship awards one to two undergraduate students per year the opportunity to attend the Pennsylvania Land Conservation Conference to facilitate entry and foster interest in conservation careers.
